A quarterly pest control customer who signed up for a 4-treatment annual plan has used 3 treatments by the time their Q3 service is completed in October. The remaining treatment — their Q4 visit — needs to happen before the year closes. The dispatcher needs to know this account is in the final treatment of its contracted plan. The salesperson needs to know this customer should be contacted about renewal before Q4 is dispatched. When a customer completes their final contracted treatment, the software surfaces them for renewal action. Depending on how the workflow is configured, this might mean: an automated renewal SMS is sent to the customer, the account appears in a renewal queue for the salesperson, or a renewal estimate is drafted from the previous year's package for one-click sending. The renewal trigger at final treatment is the most efficient moment in the customer lifecycle to initiate the next year's contract — the customer just received their service, the relationship is current, and the salesperson has a natural reason to reach out.
Multi-Plan Customers
A customer running both a quarterly interior/exterior pest control plan and a mosquito barrier spray add-on has two separate package plans tracking simultaneously. Each plan tracks its own remaining treatments independently — the pest control plan might be at treatment 2 of 4 while the mosquito add-on is at treatment 5 of 7.
